How can I get involved?

As an enlightened supporter of Valid Nutrition, you can assist us financially by donating or providing a grant that will enable us to scale up production and develop the business to meet the clear demand for our products that already exists.
• A six week programme, requiring typically, only 12kg of Valid Nutrition’s ready-to-use therapeutic food (RUTF), provides all the nutrients necessary to allow a child to recover from severe acute malnutrition, enabling them to develop properly and to achieve their full potential. Valid Nutrition can provide this quantity of RUTF for under €50.

• Every donation received by Valid Nutrition (VN) will be used  to help lower the cost and extend the amount of VN’s food products that are sold to local NGOs and African-based charities, thereby enabling greater numbers of vulnerable children to gain access to this life-saving food

• Valid Nutrition strongly believes, especially against the background of the current world economic climate,  that the development of a highly competitive business  established on an ethically sound social enterprise basis, is the most effective way to extend access to life saving nutritional products to all those affected by malnutrition.

As well as financial support, we are very interested in taking up other offers of help.  Currently, we are particularly looking for assistance with the following:

• Securing working capital Grants to scale up production and meet demand, without taking bank loans.  If you know of an individual or organisation that may be interested in supporting Valid Nutrition’s humanitarian work, please ask them to contact us and we can provide further details on request.
